Australian rock royalty You Am I 2023 will round out the year with an extensive national tour, taking in regional centres and capital cities across Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, and Canberra.

Billed as “The You’s Pull Up Their Troos Tour,” the shows will be career-spanning, with the band performing material from their early 90s classics like Hi Fi Way and Hourly, Daily to their most recent album, The Live Of Others.

Frontman Tim Rogers has promised to “play a lotta toons we haven’t in yonks” for the upcoming shows, including songs from the band’s fourth album, #4, and their 1998 hit single, “Dress Me Slowly.”

“We’re picking through the catalogue like 3am Discogging or 4am eBaying for Welcome Back Kotter merch,” Rogers said. “Dress Slowly and irresponsibly, let us deliver the cream and the crock. Land Ho!”

The tour will also come on the heels of You Am I’s recent tour of songs from The Who’s Tommy, and their upcoming support slot on The Darkness’ Australian tour. The band is also hoping to finish writing a new LP in the near future.
