New music playlist in the Vol 2 #8 Mad Monday Mixtape with music released over the past week or two. There is music from many genres including hip hop, soul, RnB, electronic music, amapiano, afrobeats. Australian music, and a little rock, and country. This weeks mixtape released 21 August 2023 has many artists from around the world including Australia and New Zealand. Some really good music videos, some ok, and also some audio and visualisations.

Albums to check this week are by Swavy, Mick Jenkins, and Noah Guy. This mixtape starts off with some electronic music including Songer with a dnb track, Skin on Skin, Skrillex. Chase & Status, MUETE, DJ Seinfeld and Confidence Man. 33 Below remix of Venbee and Rudimental’s Die Young, Eurotrash, VIP edit of Meduza Phone. Steve Aoki with Akon, and amapiano track by Mr Eazi. Then it is hip hop which includes Swavy, Doechii with a new style. Quavo with a visulisation of a track released on his album. Mick Jenkins, Lil Weirdo, Unknown T, Big Yavo, Bleu Fundz. Young Drummer Boy, Mudrigo, ST (67), Dub P, Dead Players, Doggystyleeee, 2 Eleven, and heaps ore.
Australian music includes Kahukxx, Young Lipz, Dan Sultan. Genesis Owusu, Tash Sultana, Jessica Mauboy, and Dunn D doing an acoustic version of one of his tracks. Some rnb with Victoria Monet, Buena Vista Social Club rerelease of Chan Chan. Amapiano with DopeNation, JZyNO, Korede Bello, Davido remix featuring Latto. Kraff has a chilled track, followed by a heap of hip hop. There is also a few latino tracks and some soulful singers including Noah Guy, Konyikeh, June Freedom, and stacks more.
