The Rubens Announce the Return of Hometown Festival ValleyWays 2024 for Camden, NSW on Saturday February 17.
The Rubens are gathering a bunch of their friends and peers, including Ball Park Music and Grinspoon, and taking them back to their hometown of Camden in the Macarthur region of Greater Sydney’s south-west. The band’s ValleyWays 2024 festival is happening at Onslow Oval in Benkennie / Camden, NSW. The festival announcement coincides with the releases of the band’s new single, ‘Good Mood’.
The Rubens held the first ValleyWays festival in February 2022. The event was conceived as a way of saying thank you to the town that raised them and celebrating ten years as a band for Sam Margin, Elliott Margin, Izaac Margin, Scott Baldwin and William Zeglis.

The Rubens will perform at the ValleyWays 2024 festival alongside Grinspoon, Ball Park Music, Ruby Fields, Coterie, Srirachi and a to-be-determined local opener. “After the success of the first year and the sheer volume of support we received from everyone, there’s no way we wouldn’t be doing another edition of ValleyWays,” The Rubens said in a statement. The Rubens are also playing a series of headline shows around regional towns down the East Coast in January 2024. Check below for all the dats and locations.
“Our community in Camden has been one of, if not the biggest supporters of our band since day one, so bringing the festival back to our hometown was a no-brainer. It’s our small way of saying thank you.”
Valleyways 2024
They’ll be hitting the road in January 2024 on the ‘Good Mood’ tour, playing headline shows in a range of appropriately summery locations, including the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Yamba, Coffs Harbour, Shoal Bay, Dee Why, Merimbula, Lorne, Torquay and more.
Valleyways 2024 Tickets
Ticket prices for the Valleyways 2024 festival are around $130 or $150 with return bus ticket and entry. General public sales start October 26 at 10am, with presales starting 24 hours earlier. Prices for the Rubens headline shows are around $55.
