Zambian born Australia based rapper song writer, Sampa The Great 2022 has a show announced for Melbourne on the 9th of December at Hamer Hall at Southbank. The Naarm performance will see her perform her second album release as above, so below from front to back due out September 9 this year.

Eve Tembo has won several well deserved music awards since her debut release of The Great Mixtape in 2015 and album release in 2019 of The Return which peaked at number 12 on the ARIA charts. Sampa The Great has a Afrobeats hip hop sound and is not to be confused with the English singer song writer Sampha who from memory was previously known as Sampha the Great.

The show is part of the Melbourne Recital Centre’s ALWAYS LIVE concert series announced on Wednesday this week. Sampa The Great is also supporting Billie Eilish in Sydney on 15 September, Brisbane on the 17th & 18th, then Melbourne at Rod Laver Arena on September 24 and 26.
