Welcome to Promiseland – Australia’s first music festival blending the intersecting rhythms of Afrobeats, Reggae and R&B. Raring to go in October 2022 as it graces the sunny Gold Coast with the summer season in sight.
Promiseland Festival is a brand new, multi-genre live music experience. Showcasing the culturally-diverse, invigorating and effervescent sounds of the African continent. And the vast triangle of Polynesia – genres of music that have gained unparalleled popularity across the Australian. And global music scenes in the last decade as numerous internationally-renowned artists tap into their unique vibrations.

For one weekend in October, Promiseland will take over Doug Jennings Park. Bringing a series of vivacious live performances across Afrobeats, Reggae and R&B. And an unforgettable celebration of the rich cultures that come with them. Until now, no festival of this size has represented these sub-cultures locally.
For its inaugural edition. Promiseland will boast a stellar line-up of reggae, hip-hop and alternative international and homegrown artists on one major stage. Unveiling a myriad of performers who have transitioned into the commercial market. And created music that has helped to spread these distinct sounds. A platform for African tunes and Polynesia’s percussive beats. The festival will also set the pace for new cultural stars to emerge. Promiseland’s mission is simple. Let these diverse voices unite everyone as one with music. And drop refreshing rhythms that you can’t help but dance to. Because it is in our cultural differences that we find our strengths.

FESTIVAL RULES AND REGULATIONS – Promiseland 2022
- Promiseland Festival is a licensed, over 18 years of age event.
- Any ticketing issues must addressed to Festicket directly.
- You must present your PDF ticket emailed to you at purchase or otherwise re issued at a later date. – Festicket staff will be at the event to deal with issues such as tickets not received or lost. Must present ID and credit card used for purchase.
- All tickets will attract a booking fee.
- Ticket presented at the gate must match the ID of the ticket holder.
- No refunds except as required the Code Of Fair Practice.
- No pass outs issued.
- It is a condition of entry to allow the ticket holder to have their bags, clothes or any other possessions searched by security.

- Anyone deemed to be intoxicated, displaying anti-social behaviour (including aggressive dancing or stage diving) or breaching licensing laws will be refused entry or asked to leave without refund.
- Anyone attending the event does so at their own risk.
- Professional cameras not allowed in the event space without the consent of the promoter and will need to carry accreditation. Only small cameras and phones admitted.
- Neither the promoter or venue owner will be liable for any injury, loss or damage caused at the venue.
- Promiseland will proceed rain or shine
- Please follow the directions of officials in the event of an emergency situation.
- Any ticket found to be re sold for profit will be deemed invalid and the holder maybe refused entry.
- Tickets may not be re sold on third party sites. Re sale may be offered by Festicket in the event that all tickets have sold.
- In the event that the festival cannot go ahead on due to Covid 19 restrictions being enforced that do not permit large gatherings of this nature, the festival will be rescheduled. All tickets will be valid for the rescheduled show.

WHAT OUTLETS WILL ACCEPT CASHLESS AT PROMISELAND 2021?
All of them! Promiseland 2021 will be cashless throughout the entire event – from our bars, and market stalls, to food vendors, our merch and General Store.
WILL THERE BE ANY ATM’S ON SITE?
There will be several ATM’s located in the event area where you can withdraw cash. But you won’t need them. Locate the ATM’s on the event map.
WHAT CAN I USE TO PAY FOR FOOD AND DRINKS?
The only way to pay with your card is through contactless and mobile payments. You can also use a prepaid Visa card if you don’t have a debit or credit card. Any card with a chip or VISA payWave symbol will be accepted or you can make payments via your smart phone with Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, Android Pay or Google Pay.

SHUTTLE BUS
Shuttle buses will run from Cypress Ave to the festival and return from 11AM – midnight linking with Lightrail.
UBER / TAXI
Drop off points will be designated at the festival for Uber, Taxis and other rideshare providers.
PUBLIC PICK-UP / DROP-OFF
Public Drop-offs are allowed near the festival entry, this will be located at the Muriel Henchman Car Park.

Transactions will be now lifted to 4 tickets per transaction and you must use the same email address as the original order. If you have more you can reuse the link to purchase more after you’ve completed the first round of purchases.

Where do I get a general refund?
You can obtain a refund via contacting Festicket and providing your reasoning of your refund.
If we face COVID19 lockdowns again, do we get refunds?
Absolutely, if the COVID19 lockdowns have been reintroduced and is directly preventing you from attending the event within reasonable time we will issue you a refund. Please contact Festicket if you want to request a refund.
Do we have to be vaccinated?
Based on QLD State government rules, Vaccinations are technically mandated at this stage. Things can change leading into October. If mandates still apply and you are unvaccinated you are eligible for a refund or you can sell your tickets.
COVID19
STAYING COVID SAFE
We’re all about live music and doing it safely.
Do your bit at the festival and remember to:
Maintain social distancing where possible
Practice good hygiene
Do not attend if you are sick or displaying symptoms
COVID SAFE PLAN
We are working closely with QLD Health to ensure we deliver a COVID Safe event.
Should Promiseland Festival face postponement we will relocated to a new date with all festival tickets being automatically transferred.
The event will not be canceled.
Due to COVID19 preventing any talents on the bill to not perform we will replace them with a suitable option to ensure the show still goes on, no refunds given because of this or any other circumstances out of our control.
Due to the current landscape of the pandemic, we ask kindly that any patrons who are feeling unwell or have the slightest flu symptoms not to attend this event and see your local GP immediately.
For all patrons attending the event, we ask for you to be respectful of other patrons personal space, stay hygienic by washing your hands after using facilities or common areas or use hand sanitiser where possible.
We recommend for all patrons to bring their own small hand sanitisers to apply throughout the day, however hand sanitising stations will be available through-out the event also.
