Legendary LA hip hop artists, The Pharcyde 2023 have shows booked for the east coast of Australia in June. The group have reformed, releasing music last year with Fatlip and will be touring together on the Class of ’93 Tour. They will also be joined by Master Ace supporting and DJ Marco Polo. The tour starts in Sydney at the City Recital Hall on Friday, June 9, then the Croxton Bandroom the following night Saturday, June 10. Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde 2023
The Pharcyde is celebrating 30 years since the release of their groundbreaking debut album, “Bizarre Ride II The Pharcyde,” which marked a refreshing departure from the then-dominant West Coast ‘gangsta rap’ sound. The smooth, jazzy production and light-hearted, playful, yet intricate lyrics earned immediate traction, earning Billboard positions and a Gold-certified single, “Passing Me By.”The group reformed last year releasing a new album with Fatlip back in the group.

Brooklyn-born Masta Ace is a widely recognized and highly respected figure in the New York hip hop scene, praised for his amazing storytelling abilities and vivid thoughts. His hits such as “Born to Roll,” “Crooklyn,” and “Sittin’ On Chrome” achieved crossover success in the 1990s, and he has expanded into the international market with collaborations with UK’s Young Disciples, numerous European acts, and Adelaide-based legends Funkoars. Masta Ace is also set to release new music later this year.
DJ Marco Polo – The Pharcyde 2023
DJ Marco Polo is a Canadian-born DJ and producer who is known for his work in the hip hop genre. He has collaborated with numerous artists in the industry, including Masta Ace, with whom he is joining on the CLASS OF ’93 Tour. Some of his most notable works include the album “Port Authority,” which features a range of guest artists including Large Professor, Kool G Rap, and Buckshot.
