Narara Music Festival 2017 – Kariong, NSW – May
After a 33 year break, Narara Music Festival returned, this time to Mt Penang Gardens in Kariong, NSW. The festival featured Rock and Blues and has 600 available camping sites. Each band played a cover from one of the original bands that played back in the 80s.

This year is the silver anniversary and will see headlines such as Flume, Fleet Foxes, Daryl Braithwaite, The Kooks, Liam Gallagher and US Hip Hop outfit Run the Jewels. The festivals begin in Lorne on 28 December and run to December 31st, with the Tasmanian festival starting a day later on January 29 and also running to December 31st. The Byron Bay festival begins on December 31st and goes to January 2nd, while the Fremantle festival held on two days, January 6th and 7th.
