After releasing their long awaited debit Album on national King Stingray Day, King Stingray 2022 are hitting the roads for a bunch of capital city shows across the country in October. Tassie or Canberra look to miss out at this stage but all other capital cities will be granted the pleasure of their performance including their hometown of Darwin. They also have a string of festival appearances during the year. Check below for all the dates and ticket links.
While the group only formed in 2020 with their debut single release Hey Wanhaker, they are no strangers to the music industry, and have released a bunch of hits since. Singer Yirrŋa Yunupiŋu and guitarist Roy Kellaway are the nephews of Yuthu Yindi founding memebers and have known each other since day one. They were joined by Dimathaya Burarrwanga on guitar and didge and Campbell Messer on bass to form the electrifying rock group we all know as King Stingray. They have won a stack of well deserved awards and accolades for their music and will no doubt entertain the crowds on tour with their exceptional music abilities.
Supporting the bots on the tour is Jess Day and Dulcie at all shows except Darwin which will see Double Dinghy support.

Tickets for the headline shows go on sale to the general public Aug 11 at 10am with presales the day prior. Sign up for presale tickets at the tour promoter Handsome Tours website. Ticket prices to King Stingray shows are around $55 varying a few dollars depending on venue and there are a few All Ages licensed shows, one in Brisbane, Adelaide, and Darwin.
