In the jungle of Jimna Queensland is Jungle Love 2022 Music and Arts Festival. From 10:00am September 2 to 11:59pm Sunday the 4th. Jungle Love 2022 is a fully BYO event, so bring what you like to enjoy by the main stage. No bars, so also no lines to get a drink.
As a result of the event postponed from April, some acts have had to cancel their appearance. However, most are still playing. And there are a few more new names also coming. There will be acts such as King Stingray, Budjera, AYA J, The Lazy Eyes, Lastings, and heaps more. There is also an Electronic Theme Camps with electronic music from over the world. If there’s one thing we pour over meticulously, it’s the curation of our musical soundtrack every year, made up of an eclectic mix of artists in many different genres. What is it that binds them all together? It’s the Quality!
Stellar Performances – Jungle Love 2022 Music & Arts Festival
Sometimes we get a few really well-known acts mixed in with a bunch of acts who’ve been making waves, all alongside some acts we’re almost certain you haven’t seen… yet we know they’ll blow you away.
The main thing on our mind is that for any act that we program, the performance has to be truly stellar otherwise we’re just not likely to book it, no matter how ‘big’ an act is.
Most of all, we back our own unique curatorial style. It’s what we’re known for. All acts are programmed according to the vibe of that time of day, and that part of the weekend, and not in order of “popularity”.
We love all types of music, and we want to break down any illusion that the best music is played on the radio. Quite a lot of it is, but even more is not.
Electronic Theme Camps – Jungle Love 2022 Music & Arts Festival
Don’t mind a few beats speckled in between your live sets and jams? Or perhaps you’re one of the ones that finds yourself in doofville for the three days and rarely gets over to the main stage. We’ll we’ve actually got more electronic than live music it seems when you count that we’ve got four electronic renegade stages.
What’s an Electronic Theme Camp?
Our theme camps curate their own line-ups in their own style. They all bring something completely different from the world of electronic music, and they all bring their own unique atmosphere to the party. If you want comfort, a place to groove out, some healthy doses of tech and house, funk and whatever they’re feeling at the time but it’s gonna be good, you’ll find yourself at Love Camp a LOT.
We’re so excited to finally have the one and only Love Camp at Jungle Love! It was meant to happen in 2020, but nothing happened in 2020 obviously. Then in 2021 there was the great Earth Frequency and Jungle Love clash, and of course Love Camp definitely had to be at Earth Frequency, Love Camp originated out of Earth Frequency. It started out at Earth Frequency as just a great campsite with love put into it and has now grown into its own institution, loved by many a doofer. Love Camp is now also running one of the main stages at Elements Festival.
Love Camp
This crew wants you to have the best time and they put in the effort because it’s so important to them that you do. Expect techno, house, glitch, funk, disco, a dash of drum n bass and whatever else they’re feeling at the time.
You’d be hard pressed to find any crews that know as much about reggae and dub as Boom Boom Sound System. They live and breathe it and have catalogues of it that they’ve finely tuned over many years. Whenever you want to groove but bring it back a bit, and still feel allllll the bass, head past the Boom Boom Sound System stage.
And now for something a bit different…
Renegade Playground spawned out of Jungle Love 2021 from a couple of bonafide lovers of 90s rave. We’re talking acid house, happy hardcore, gabber. For many, it’ll no doubt be some full on kooky stuff. And something you’ve probably never thought you’d find yourself dancing to. Until you’re caught up in the energy and you do (if you think you won’t, you will). The curators of Renegade Playground, Sam and Phil (from Monster Zoku Onsomb) will be collaborating with Jo Allard who volunteered at Jungle Love last year and is now designing and building a maze where Renegade Playground will pop up from time to time in the centre of the maze, if you can find your way there.
If we didn’t have enough electronic music going on already, each night in our new Dreamland big top venue we will be having queer-led takeovers from Fem Fale and Boom Boom Bean Selecta’s Backyard Takeover’s over Friday and Saturday night till late in our new Dreamland big top venue.
WHEN AND WHERE? – Jungle Love 2022 Music & Arts Festival
Jungle Love will be held from midday Friday the 2nd of September to late on Sunday the 4th of September. This year we are moving to a gorgeous new home in Jimna, QLD. We still have the swimming element, but what we’re most excited about is the new possibilities to bring ideas to life that we haven’t been able to in the past.
CAMPING
Includes camping in the ticket price. You are able to camp in or next to your vehicle. Please carpool as much as possible to reduce the number of cars coming to site and therefore, emissions!
GLAMPING
Tickets for Glamping options are available at Jungle Love website.
Take your Jungle Love experience to the next level with our glamping tent packages. No need to lug heavy equipment to the festival site or struggle with pesky tent poles; we are offering luxurious canvas bell tents for hire.
The base package ($500) includes a pre-pitched EMPTY 5M bell tent. This tent will fit up to 6 people. Just bring your own bedding, blankets and whatever else you need to deck out the space and make it fully your own!
If you don’t feel like pumping up an air mattress or snoozing in a sleeping bag (we don’t blame you!), then you can add on up to five fully set up beds to your package. Mattresses, pillow, blankets, fresh linen, fairy lights and a ground sheet are all included with this add on!
We’ve got double beds, single beds and a combination of both!
Glamping tickets require a festival ticket for entry.

TRAVEL – Jungle Love 2022 Music & Arts Festival
Driving
Jungle Love is located between Jimna and Kilcoy, approximately 1 hour and 50 mins from Brisbane and approximately the same distance from the Sunshine Coast.
You’ll pass through Kilcoy before arriving at the festival. They have a supermarket, bottle shop, and more, so please support the local community that supports the festival.
Vehicle Pass
All vehicles require a vehicle pass to enter site and can be pre-purchased via our ticketing page or purchased at the gate on arrival.
This year campervans will not require any special vehicle pass. One size fits all.
Exemptions apply for motorcycles and people with a mobility disability. Simply arrive at the gate and show your disability parking permit, or motorbike, and you’ll be given a free vehicle pass.
Shuttle Bus
We have a direct bus departing from Brisbane Airport, stopping at Bowen Hills Station (two train stops from Brisbane CBD), and also stopping at Caboolture Station.
Please note the Friday morning Shuttle Bus will not stop at Brisbane Airport. This bus will depart from Bowen Hills Station. The bus will depart from the airport on Thursday September 1 only.
By arriving on the shuttle bus you can purchase a discounted “Jungle Love 2022 Bus Package” event ticket saving $50 as a thanks from us for helping to reduce the event’s carbon emissions by reducing the number of vehicles on the road. Bus ticket holders arriving on Thursday September 1 also gain free entry on Thursday, saving an additional $35.

Flying
If travelling from interstate, it would be best for you to fly into Brisbane Domestic Airport. We have a shuttle bus departing from Brisbane Domestic Airport on Thursday September 1st @ 11am. The shuttle bus will return to the airport on Monday September 5 at approximately 1pm.
*Please note we cannot guarantee any arrival times and we take no responsibility for missed connections. If flying, it is recommended that you give yourself ample time to board flights in case there are issues with traffic and that you also purchase travel insurance in case you miss flights due to delays on the road.
BYO – Jungle Love 2022 Music & Arts Festival
We are a fully BYO festival (you just can’t bring any glass!). That means you can make yourself a margarita and sip it by the main stage, or be drinking cold tinnies when you’re swimming in the creek.
It’s just better when it’s BYO. No bar queues, no security checkpoints or fenced in areas, no overpriced crap beer, no going to find the bar when you want another. Just freedom to drink what you want, when you want and no one to tell you otherwise.
18+ (BUT LITTLE ONES ARE WELCOME!)
Jungle Love is predominantly an 18+ festival, you are able to bring your kids up to the age of 14 by purchasing a children’s ticket in conjunction with an adult ticket. Your children must be supervised at all times.
ACCESSIBILITY – Jungle Love 2022 Music & Arts Festival

We are making even more improvements than previous years.
Accessible Campsites
In 2022, we will have a dedicated accessible campsite close enough to the action so you won’t have to go far. The campsite will have accessible toilets and a shower which will be reserved solely for those that need it. There’ll be an additional accessible toilet at the main stage which is approximately 400m from the campsite.
The campsite will also include electricity for charging wheelchairs, and CPAP machines etc.
We will have accessible paths from the campsite to the stages that will still provide access in the event of wet weather.
Auslan interpreters – Jungle Love 2022 Music & Arts Festival
We plan to have Auslan interpreters on site who will provide sign language services for selected workshops and performances for those that need it. You will need to email us at the email address above to let us know that you will utilise the service as we won’t book interpreters if no one attending requires them.
We accept the Companion’s Card and provide free entry to any carers of people attending. Simply show the card at the gate on arrival. You must arrive with the person receiving your care who will need a valid festival ticket.
