Tasmania is gearing up for one of its most exciting cultural events of the year, as Good Gumnuts 2026, set to take over Burnie from 6–8 March 2026. This all ages festival blends music, arts, camping and community spirit, bringing together some of the most exciting names in Australian music alongside a wave of emerging talent. With headline acts, immersive experiences and a strong local flavour, this is shaping up to be the ultimate autumn festival escape.
A Festival with Heart and Growth
Good Gumnuts has become a staple of the Tasmanian live music scene, drawing visitors from across Australia to Pataway/Burnie each year. What began as a grassroots celebration has grown into a nationally recognised festival while holding onto its sense of inclusivity, creativity, and connection to place.
The 2026 edition raises the bar with a stacked lineup and an expanded program. Festival goers can look forward not only to live music but also interactive workshops, art installations, circus performances, food stalls, and family-friendly entertainment. The event is committed to sustainability and community engagement, making it more than just a gig, it’s a shared experience.
Good Gumnuts 2026
The previous year’s festival set the stage with strong performances and a loyal crowd, but Good Gumnuts 2026 takes things further. The lineup now includes a balance of chart-topping acts, cult favourites, and up-and-coming artists ready to make their mark.
The inclusion of household names such as Dope Lemon and The Jungle Giants signals a step up in scale, while the return of innovative programming ensures audiences can dive into more than just music. Tasmanian artists also feature prominently, reinforcing the festival’s mission to showcase the island’s cultural strength alongside national talent. Alongside the music, the festival will also host creative workshops, circus acts, face painting, a pop-up tattoo studio, local brass bands, and a strong showcase of Tasmanian food and arts.
