The Falls Festival have made the first announcement for the line up of the 2017/18 Festival. This year will be the 25th Falls Festival which began in Lorne, Victoria. Nowadays, the festival is held across the country bringing some of the biggest names in music to Australian shores. The festival is held in Lorne in Victoria, Marion Bay in Tasmania, Byron Bay and Fremantle. Falls Festival 2017 2018 25th Annual Falls.
This year is the silver anniversary and will see headlines such as Flume, Fleet Foxes, Daryl Braithwaite, The Kooks, Liam Gallagher and US Hip Hop outfit Run the Jewels. The festivals begin in Lorne on 28 December and run to December 31st, with the Tasmanian festival starting a day later on January 29 and also running to December 31st. The Byron Bay festival begins on December 31st and goes to January 2nd, while the Fremantle festival held on two days, January 6th and 7th.
