Angus Stone’s side project Dope Lemon 2023 has a shows locked in for September in Melbourne and Sydney. The chill fire outfit plays at the Forum in Naarm / Melbourne on September 14 and at the Sydney Opera House, Eora on the 15th. The latest single release KIMOSABÈ has been well received over the past month. Angus played Big Jet Plane alongside Post Malone at Marvel Stadium in Naarm / Melbourne at the beginning of the year when Post was playing after some social media get together.
The band has an iconic sound like the lemon graphic you see in their videos and artwork representing the band.
“In the past, the artwork has been real anonymous, in a way, because I was trying to explore these styles, and having this shield in front of me was beautiful. For this record, I had moments of clarity reflecting on my childhood and I was able to see where I want to be in the future. Putting myself on the cover just felt right.” Angus Stone
Tickets go on sale July 19 at 10am for Preslaes and 20th to general public. Prices are around $80 and shows are strictly 18+.
