Old rockers, Dinosaur Jr 2024 returns to Australia this summer, paying homage to their 1993 album ‘Where You Been’. The alternative rock pioneers will treat fans to a full performance of this seminal album for the 30 year anniversary. Hits include ‘Start Choppin’,’ ‘Out There,’ and ‘Get Me’. Catch them at headline gigs in Eora / Sydney, Meanjin / Brisbane, Tarndanya / Adelaide, and Boorloo / Perth. They also play at the Tent Pole: A Musical Jamboree in Djilang / Geelong where they will headline alongside Mogwai.

In addition to the album showcase, fans can anticipate a set of Dinosaur Jr 2024 classics spanning their impressive 14-album discography. Look forward to tracks such as ‘Feel The Pain,’ ‘Just Like Heaven’. ‘Freak Scene,’ ‘The Wagon,’ ‘Little Fury Things,’ and ‘Almost Ready.’

Throughout 2023, J Mascis (guitar, vocals, primary songwriter), Lou Barlow (bass, vocals), and Murph (drums) have been on a global journey. Performing sold-out shows across the United States and making appearances at esteemed festivals like Spain’s Primavera Weekender. Germany’s Rolling Stone Beach, and Memphis’ Mempho Music Hall.

Dinosaur Jr.’s most recent studio album, ‘Sweep It Into Space,’ was released in 2021, and they also treated fans to a live album. ‘Emptiness At The Sinclair,’ recorded at the Sinclair in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in the same year.
