Gravity Stairs: The Album
The new album, Gravity Stairs, promises a profound addition to the Crowded House discography. Neil Finn shared that the album title inspired by an unnaturally heavy stone staircase near where he vacations. “The Gravity Stairs are symbolic of the struggle to ascend, acknowledging the opposing forces of weight on the mechanics of living. It’s an act of will every day,” Finn explained. This metaphorical depth is a hallmark of Finn’s songwriting, which often explores themes of human experience and resilience.
