In what is fast becoming an annual event, hip hop legend turned culinary mastermind Coolio has announced a comprehensive Australian tour, gracing stages from Brisbane to Ballarat with his Grammy Award winning catalogue. Live Music Australia.
The multi-platinum selling artist, composer, actor, reality star and yes even chef, seems taken by our little part of the globe, having announced a nation tour just last year after a previous visit for Falls Festival. Unfortunately the 2013 tour was cancelled at the final hour, but the rapper is now making up for lost times.

Coolio first cut his teeth in his local Californian West Coast scene in the ’90s, joining a variety of crews before dropping his debut album It Takes A Thief. In 1996 he won a Grammy Award for Best Solo Rap Performance for his international hit single, Gangsta’s Paradise, which has since sold over 4 million copies worldwide.
Coolio Australia Tour 2014
Not content with just conquering the music world, Coolio has successfully made the transition from performer to lifestyle guru. His recent Cooking with Coolio show proved to be so successful that he published a Cooking with Coolio cookbook which featured recipes for his very own “ghetto cuisine” and lessons in how to cook “Blasian” (Black Asian) and “Ghettalian” (Ghetto Italian). (Nastassia Baroni on 5th June, 2014).
