Triple J presenter Dylan Alcott has put together some of the best Triple J acts for a brand spanking new festival in Coburg, Melbourne dubbed Ability Fest. The Paralympian has put together the 18+ festival to celebrate inclusivity and people of all genders, disabilities and races. The festival will be held at Coburg Velodrome and headlined by Flight Facilities and Client Liaison. There will also be a stack of other acts like Kingswood, Tkay Maidza, Boo Seeka, Japanese Wallpaper, and many more. The festival will have a bunch of AUSLAN translators hitting the stage to translate all the acts playing on the main stage. There will be easy access along with many viewing platforms to appeases festival goers of all abilities. All artists have donated their time with proceeds going to Alcott’s new Dylan Alcott Foundation, which aims to help kids with disabilities achieve their goals through scholarships, mentoring, grants and other programs.
